Once again, (with exactly one year break), we are happy to present you our new release of Noun, that called «Deep Colors EP».

Yeah folks, over the past few years so much has continued to change, but the invariable attributes of our lives is Music. For Headphones, sure ;)

The first track – «Waves of colors». Quite a fast track acceleration from very light start for a heavyweight the middle of track, and next – motion by inertia. For a calm, gray, unattractive organ sounds adds stirred drumbeat. Then comes in motion synthesizers, which are beginning to sway smooth sailing of track via sharp notes. Then – waves-waves-waves. Waves of colors. Or maybe it’s just agony of the soul, who knows …

The second track is a «Deep Mirrors». Here, everything is different: length of this composition like a mirror in full human growth (and growth of the Noun – 1 m 91 cm :). The slow development of the track, all very smoothly and gradually. Until a certain time. Deep bass riffs in order connects different elements:  glass bells, pads, synth-chords… it’s all mixed in one light Symphony, which from the middle of the track start to dilute the little sharp synth motives and double-claps. All this is beautifully reflected in the Deep Mirrors of the soul of a lonely man.

 

In general, as always:  melancholically, but in it there is charm.

Hello, dear listeners!

Today, finally, we are ready to present to you the new release from our guest «Redgloam».

It is called «Painted Red EP».

Opens this release is the first track, entitled «Your mind is another dimension». It contains a puff and powerful beats, plus a little scratches and micro-clips. Uncomplicated melody in the background. All this is blended into the overall picture … what happens in the end? Another dimension? Perhaps, yes.

The second track, which gave its name to this release, called «Painted Red».
Glitch-sounds, dark corridors, robotic effects, echo-shaped grooves on the edges …
And what kind of atmosphere … mmm … Immediately imagines an industrial area in some small abandoned town.

The next track (and third) shows us that all the same beyond the veil of this city? By the way, it is called – «Beyond the veil.»
And there lies indescribably beautiful picture, which consists of smoky pads, light melodic percussion, and beats easy with a bright digital echoes …

«Floating». That is the name of the fourth track on this release.
We swim through the waves of beautiful tunes and light, bright beats. Sunlight and water. Nothing more.

This is our second (and very long awaited) release of Noun on the Music For Headphones net-label entitled «Spontaneous Music Behaviour»!
And it opens up a powerful and aggressive track of the same name. This track shows the real Spontaneous behavior of music ;) Powerful drum loops, synth samples permeates their hard sound, and the main phrase with elements of glitch only underscores the mood of this release.

The next track, entitled «Excellent» though more monotonous, but nevertheless touch to the soul =) Glitch, sound cuts, vocal samples, simple melody, drums, distortion — all mixed together in this composition. Melancholic idea was completed at 100%. Indeed, Excellent.

The third track on this release is called «Monotonic suite». What a «dividing line» in this supposed «net-vinyl». A smooth transition from powerful beats, guitar distortion, stand out synth lines to lighter but no less atmospheric tracks. Punch start with the samples of the Russian group «5’nizza» + oppressive stream synthesizer, Cut off, the total tune in two notes, clearly marked simplicity in all — this is the main components of this track.

Figaro! This name does you nothing said? All right. This work was written in 1816 Gioachino Antonio Rossini for his play «The Barber of Seville». Legendary work, I’ll tell you …
In this release a very brave try of Noun to breathe into a product new colors, strength and vigor. Active use of stereo effects, panning, vocal phrases from the original play, violin + gate-effect and simple synth melody. Here it is, the new Figaro 2010!

The fifth and final work on this release is called «Old dirty town». This track is like other of this release is no different positive and joyful attitude. All that the same melancholic, and even mild depression envelops and cover this track. It is fully mixed light echoes of hip-hop phonograms, deep bass, simply whistling tune and claps. Small elements of percussion makes it clear that there is also a subtle influence of minimal techno (but, however it is minimal).

Melancholic, depressive, sad though and easily.

MFH begins to float in the world of net-audio to their first release «Noun – Hot start EP»!

Opens this debut release (and for the artist and for MFH too) incendiary track, entitled «Chaos beat». It’s really quite a «hot start»!
Piercing synthesizer riffs, a strong beats, all this shows is the best way all chaotic.

The second track called «Just feel it» The name speaks for itself.
The explosion, at the same time, energetic track. Intoduction of this track reminds us the sounds of trains, on the other hand – it is the voice passed through an uncountable number of effects! Bass Line sends us in the 90-th years, recalling the old techno-tracks. In the second half of this song we get in the abyss dungeons sounds. And landing was not very easy!
In general, why should I paint it all?
Listen and Just feel it!

The track «Retrospective» of Noun looks more relaxed on the other in this release. But it is not.
Heavy waves of sampling tools, clicks, noise, vinyl records, ringing in ears, bells – all this is very interesting to combine and merge together in this track. The bass line at some point become familiar, not-so-right? Interesting failures breathtaking, the constant repetition of electrically melodies, samples … All of this was. Once upon a time. Noun reminded us of this… A very unusual track in two parts.
